A series of porcelain containers with complementary shapes, colours and sizes that can be used on their own or together as small sets creating different arrangements on the table depending on the context.

The collection is made from basic geometries derived from the cylinder and declined into half cylinders and quarter cylinders in various heights and diameters that can be arranged in multiple ways resembling mini architectural landscapes.

Although these containers have been designed without a specific function in mind, we have studied their potential uses and contexts to help define their sizes and proportions. That careful consideration to their form and function makes this collection equally suited to be used as desktop accessories at the work table, as decorative arrangements at a side table or shelf, or to arrange and serve food at the dining table, staying true to its Japanese origins where the presenting the food is as important as the food itself.
