Using the ambiguity of use of porcelain pieces designed for collaboration with the Japanese company 2016 / as a starting point, this exhibition explores how the connotations of an object change radically depending on how it is presented and organised. The different arrangements presented here play with the context simply with variations in their position and orientation.

In the formal development of the pieces for this collection we have used proportion and dimension in pure geometric forms to define their possible functions as plates, glasses, vases, pens or containers instead of resorting to traditional forms that these objects usually have.

It is not their own shape, but the proportions and sizes of the containers make them suitable as desk accessories on a work table, as decorative arrangements or to serve food on a dining table.

The title of the exhibition is also a reference to the text "Arranging Things, to Rethoric in Object Placement", where Leonard Koren speaks very eloquently of the art of organising and argues that the connotations of an object change completely depending on how it is presented or arranged.

The 20 16 / TA collection is presented for the first time in Spain during the festival Mayrit, taking place in Madrid in February 2020.
