The proposal is to use screens made from wood and paper with very similar formal language to the Coulisse lamp we designed for Hermès Maison, referencing the prop walls of a stage which become backdrops for the products in the scene.

Each window becomes a mini stage where a few selected products from the Hermès collections in front of each screen are the central characters. As a second layer, we introduce a playful element in the background with the projection of shadows that interact with the objects on the foreground reminiscent of Japanese shadow theatre.

The visual impact of the projection becomes more obvious as it gets darker outside, going from a subtle suggestion during the day to a full reveal in the evening.
